"The Melbourne showcase tonight (9th) is at the '9th Ward' a very funky Jazz club in the heart of Melbourne city centre.

The stage wrapped in fabric with subtle lighting and a very cool chandelier is a nice setting for Bic and her band.

Four songs are performed from 'Beautiful Collision':

-Something Good

-Get some sleep

-The Be All & End All

-Listening for the weather.

It's close to a full house and the audience are really appreciative, at many music functions they can talk over the artist but tonight they really loved what was happening on stage. Wish it was a few more songs...that was the only complaint.
Bic on harmonica, nice backing vocals from the band, a bit of a play on Tamborine (which Bic pointed out still has Pearl Runga pencilled on the side)
...can't wait for the day that it's a whole set of Runga songs. She seems really confident on stage , not as shy as before.

For some of the people in the room it was the first time they have seen her play, and they really wanted more.

I waved, bolted out the door before the tow truck could try and remove my car from it's very illegal parking place. Even if I copped a parking fine the four songs would of been worth it.
