Comments:

Bic Runga’s uniquely phrased pop songs and hauntingly beautiful melodies have already earned her a special place in the pantheon of New Zealand song. Now Bic is set to release her hugely-anticipated and star-studded third album, Birds.

To celebrate the release, Bic will be playing songs from the album for the first time ever live in a special event at Auckland’s Civic Theatre on 28 November 2005 with her studio band, which includes Neil Finn, Anika Moa, Shayne Carter (Dimmer), Ricky Gooch (Trinity Roots), Ben Maitland (Boxcar Guitars), Tim Arnold (Pluto), Conrad Standish
(The Devastations) and Anna Coddington (Duchess).

Birds features Bic’s incredible songwriting talent at its very best and a band who came together just for this project. A show not to miss for fans of her wonderfully romantic torch songs and great musicianship. One night only at the Civic, 28 November 2005.

Bic is here to grace the stage again.
