Review:

Despite it being Winter in Australia, it was an a sunny day outside today. Afternoon soundcheck at the Prince of Wales for the first night of Bic's four shows. Watch the sun go down from the balcony....
Four songs played at soundcheck-
Something Good
Beautiful Collision
Wild is the wind
Get some sleep.

Leave the Venue and the Bic fans are already gathering, spot Koji from Japan, Lisa from the States and a few of the Melbourne fanclub members. Hopefully you are all on the dinner lists and get a table close to the stage.

I always notice if you walk with Bic how many people do recognize her, some probably don't know the name but they know the face, always amazes me ,from remote areas of W.A. to this afternoon at St. Kilda...I'm sure she is use to it but it still throws me.

All sounded good at soundcheck and despite the odd pole holding up the roof, the Prince of Wales shows should be good nights.

A few of our musician friends are coming down to enjoy the show on Monday night,
Andy White from Ireland, Paul Hester of Crowded House fame, Monique Brumby
(another female artist-she's from Tasmania originally), a few Skyhooks and
some of the Taxi-ride guys (or is it the Living End?)....imagine if they all invaded the stage for a massive jam session *grin*. That should be encouraged!!!! (:

Anyway if you are lucky enough to be attending the Melbourne shows, have a great time.Still some tickets left, last chance unless you are heading to Paris...
