Family Tree of Bic's Music
This is currently work in progress.
Initially the idea was to track all the Bic Runga tracks, and come up with a family tree style graphic of all the parties involved. eg Instrumentalists, Producers, Engineers, etc.
Then came the linkages.
The New Zealand music scene is (what is now clear to me) incredibly small, and by the time you link all the other players, it starts to get complicated. eg Boh Runga does background vocals on Drive, Boh has her own band "Stellar* which includes Chris van de Geer who has done engineering on a number of Bic's songs AND was in the band "Second Child"; Bic did BV's on "Second Childs" track "Disappear".
And so it goes on.

While Bic produces her own albums, they take a cast of musicians, engineers, mixers and support people to get the album into the record stores.
